My life is far from perfect, but I’m ok with that.  I’ve worked hard to get to where I am.  I have a cute little house, a job that fulfills me, and a little boy that I love more than life itself.  I pride myself on being a strong, independent woman, and letting a man fix my problems for me just isn’t the way I work.

I had Jase pegged from the second I laid eyes on him.  The man’s a player and I have no intentions of being played.  Been there, done that.  I don’t care that he has a killer smile and an ass I could happily spend all day bouncing quarters off of.  His interest is kind of flattering in the beginning – and then it’s not.

People say I don’t take anything in life seriously.  They’re probably right.  I’ve seen the shit life can throw at you and I refuse to let it touch me.  I live free – I have fun.  People say I don’t respect women.  Well, they’re wrong about that.  I love women almost as much as they love me.  I love the way they smell, the way they taste, and I especially love they way they feel when I get them under me.

I’d met Ellen months ago, and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to get her out of my head.  She’s gorgeous, funny and has an incredible ass.  The only problem is that I’ve never had to work so hard to get a woman into my bed … but we’ll get there.  I’ll make sure of it.  She doesn’t know it yet, but my brand of playing is just what she needs. 

Ellen is a single working mother who loves her son and loves her job. She is a woman who knows how to take of herself and doesn’t need a man in her life. So when Jase starts to show interest in her she dismisses him as a playboy looking for a good time. Definitely not the kind of man she wants in her life, though she has a hard time resisting his sexy smile.

Jase has always been a no commitment kind of guy, he lived life by the seat of his pants and for a while he liked it that way. No strings, no ties just a good time. Then he laid eyes on her—Ellen was beautiful and he felt drawn to her for reasons he has yet to figure out. He was willing to try though if only he could get her to see him as more than a playboy.

I knew Jase was going to be fun to read. His story is sweet, sexy and exciting. Ellen is the perfect match for Jase even when she doesn’t realize it at first. The chemistry between this couple was outstanding. 

When Ellen’s ex turns out to be a real jerk Jase puts him in his place and my heart fell for him a little more. I loved how Jase realizes that he wants to be better for Ellen and her son to be an adult and stop acting like a big kid if he wants to have a life with her.  

He is put off when he notices that his brothers don’t take him seriously and he’s out to prove them all wrong. Jase begins the process to start his own custom motorcycle shop. Meanwhile the danger from the previous books is lurking in the background when the club faces off with the Crips. 

It is not an easy road for these two to get their happily ever after but I was ecstatic when they got it.

I loved this book but at the end the author gives us a sneak peek at book 4, Reaper, it was so intense I could not believe it. His book is going to be a great one.

She hopes to eventually get a couple of goats to add to their country way of living. Besides her family and home, her next best passion is reading. She is often found with her nose obsessively stuck in a book, much to the frustration of her husband and daughter. On more than one occasion Alex found herself wanting a book to go a certain way, but it didn’t. With these thoughts in mind, she decided to start writing stories according to her own visions.
