Thia is prim and proper.
Bear is leather and lawless.
It will never work between them.
It's a lie they almost believe.

It is necessary to first read King and Tyrant to fully enjoy Lawless.

Lawless is a book that will grab you from the first chapter by the throat and not let you go until the last page. It will leave you catching your breath as if you ran a marathon of emotions, loss, and despair. Thia and Bear are two lost broken souls in search of something to live for.

“I’ve been beaten, but I’d never been broken. Until Thia…”

Bear left his MC and the men he thought were his brothers behind. After a horrible experience of being tortured Bear drowns the nightmares in drugs, alcohol and random women. He waits for the inevitable the MC will come for him take him out—you don’t just walk away from the Beach Bastards you get put down. When his past comes racing into his life Bear has to decide if he wants to help Thia or just disappear and wait for death.

Thia’s life was always chaotic— at a young age she lost her baby brother and her mother lost her mind. Thia had to grow up quick and be responsible and help her parents keep their orange grove. So she never got a chance to be a kid. When her mother finally loses complete control Thia is forced to make a decision no child should ever have to make and it breaks her. With nowhere else to go Thia runs to the one person who made her feel safe the scary biker who gave a ten year old a ring and a promise. But seven years is a long time people change promises get broken.

“This may still be the worst time of your life, Ti. But when you remember all the shit that went down you can remember your first kiss too, and maybe it will take some of the sting you’ll feel away. Let me do that for you. Let me help you.”

“I don’t want drugs. I want you to be my drug. Make me forget, Bear. Please.” I begged. “Take it all away.”

I love so many things about Bear and Thia’s story I don’t know where to begin. Thia is a young girl who has had to deal with way too much bad experiences for someone her age. She has come through it all with a strong resolve. Bear grew up with tough hard men who taught him how to fight, how to kill, but never how to love. Thia changes all that from the moment he meets her as a ten year old smart mouthed little girl. When Thia comes back into his life seven years later she quickly finds a place in his heart and soul and he doesn’t know what to do with the feelings this girl invokes in him.

“I’ve been a ruined man for a long time. I can’t ruin you too.”“You didn’t ruin me,” I said. “You saved me.”

T.M. Frasier is on the short list of authors that I literally drop everything for to read. When I found out the ARCs were sent out for Lawless I screeched in joy and began reading that night until my eyes kept closing. I stole moments all day the next day to read because I could not put Lawless down. I wanted to be in this crazy, messed up world that these two incredible characters lived him. The emotion and the sorrow I felt for these characters ripped at my heart. I was also thrilled to pieces to get lots of King and Ray in this story as well as they build their life and family together.  Bear and King’s friendship is solid and honest, I loved their banter. Even though he is dead the ever present Preppy makes more than one appearance as the voice of reason in Bear’s head when he is usually at his lowest or stupidest. I loved that T.M. still keeps the memory of Preppy alive throughout this series. Every single one of T.M.’s characters in this series are written so well I feel like I know them. They are unique and engaging—the story leaps off the page. If you are looking for a story with characters that are flawed, broken and tug at your heart this is the series for you.

“We were two tortured souls. Both in more ways than one person should ever have to experience. But we found each other. We needed each other. So help him I did.”

"Promise me that no matter what, that you won’t give up on me. Promise me, Ti,” Bear said, his eyes welling up with water. I wiped the corner of his eye with my thumb and he leaned into my touch. “I won’t give up on you,” I promised and I meant it.”
