Kellen is surrounded by a life of privilege and fame. With a rich family and famous brother, it's not always easy to see who wears a mask. Then he meets the what-you-see-is-what-you-get-Paige. He doesn't know how, Kellen just knows he wants to be with her. But wealth and fame have dark consequences for Kellen's family, and keeping Paige safe from the people out to ruin the Richards won't be as easy as he expects.



With everything stacked against them, can Paige and Kellen learn to love one another for who they really are?

Paige rolled her eyes to the ceiling, flicked off the television and returned to the kitchen. Standing on tiptoes, she pulled the toaster down from a cabinet. "That wasn't national news. Channel four is local."

RM Alexander was born in Illinois. Since she moved to Johnsburg, Illinois outside of McHenry at the age of one, she has always considered that her hometown. Growing up, she moved several times before settling in Portage, Michigan. It was there she graduated and met her husband. A few years afterwards, they married, moved to Plainwell, MI and had two children.



Her early jobs included customer service, daycare teacher, conversion analyst for a major OTC pharmaceutical company and travel agent. But after her daughters were born, focus changed from working outside the home and servicing clients to raising the children.



Reading was an important part of growing up. RM's parents read to her every night, and she learned early to develop a love for books. That, combined with a healthy imagination, was the perfect mix for RM. At the age of ten, she picked up a pen and paper and wrote out her first novel. "It was awful," she says now. "I had so much to learn." But it birthed the lifelong passion for writing.



Though the first twenty years of writing were spent as an on again, off again hobby, RM always felt drawn back to it. Finally, when her oldest daughter was born, something clicked inside. "I just knew, and I don't know why that was the moment, I was supposed to be writing."



Her first published novel, Matter of Choice, was released in January of 2014. She writes both clean contemporary romantic suspense and clean romantic paranormal thrillers.



When she's not writing, she enjoys time with her husband and daughters in Michigan. She loves to travel, especially to Walt Disney World, and is addicted to Ghiradelli chocolates.

King's eyes never left my face during this exchange. When he was done, he dropped the radio on the desk again.

"Now, you're girls are taken care of and you and I need to have a chat."

I straightened my shoulders. "Like I said, King, I appreciate your help but I'm leaving."

"Sit. Your. Ass. Down. Jena," he barked.

"Fuck you, King!" I shouted.

Suddenly he was right in front of me, no, practically on top of me, his left arm wrapping around me and pulling me tightly against his body. His right hand twisted in my hair, yanking my head back so hard it almost hurt.

I didn't understand why, but I felt that tugging somewhere else on my body. Somewhere much lower.

"Don't say it unless you mean it, darlin'," he snarled.

Then he kissed me.

CC Wood is a native Texan that grew up either reading or playing the piano. Years later, she’s still not grown up and doing the same things. Since the voices in her head never shut up, C.C. decided to share their crazy stories and started writing books.

A Maryland native who spends most of her time  devising a plan to live off the land on some remote island, where no one will ever find her.

She is a married mother of two kids, who may or may not drive her completely bonkers. In her spare time she enjoys shooting pool, camping and spending time with friends and family.

 

Marissa Dobson

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, Marissa Dobson now resides about an hour from Washington, D.C. She's a lady who likes to keep busy, and is always busy doing something. With two different college degrees, she believes you are never done learning.

Being the first daughter to an avid reader, this gave her the advantage of learning to read at a young age. Since learning to read she has always had her nose in a book. It wasn't until she was a teenager that she started writing down the stories she came up with.

Marissa is blessed with a wonderful, supportive husband, Thomas. He's her other half and allows her to stay home and pursue her writing. He puts up with all her quirks and listens to her brainstorm in the middle of the night.

Her writing buddies Max (a cocker spaniel) and Dawne (a beagle mix) are always around to listen to her bounce ideas off them. They might not be able to answer, but they are helpful in their own ways.

Kelly Walker

Kelly Walker is a YA and NA author of several romantic titles, including the Souls of the Stones series. She has an unhealthy appreciation for chocolate, and a soft spot for rescued animals. Her best lessons on writing came from a lifetime of reading. She loves the fantastical, and the magical, and believes a captivating romance can be the most realistic magic of all. Kelly, her husband and her two children share their Virginia home with three dogs who walk her, and two cats who permit her to occasionally share their couch.

Micalea Smeltzer

Micalea Smeltzer is a Young Adult writer from Virginia. Her name is pronounced Muh-call-e-uh. She is permanently glued to her computer where she constantly writes. She has to listen to music when she writes and has a playlist for every book she's ever started. Micalea has enough books, and she's read them all, to start her own library and that doesn't include all the ones on her Kindle. She has three shih-tzu's, Benvolio (Bennie), Balthazar (Zar), and Tucker.
