Blake is a Dom. Being a silent partner at a BDSM club, he has his pick of willing submissives nightly. Finding that he has pretty much been with every one of them, he decides to look something a bit more exciting. So he places ads for a submissive online. Each encounter is a no strings, no repeats arrangement and that's exactly how he likes it. He doesn't do relationships, he doesn't have time for them. Making money and increasing his wealth, and hot one-night stands are all he wanted; nothing more.

Alyson is a young college graduate who has never experienced an orgasm. Her sexual experiences are limited and have not been very fulfilling. When she saw the ad for a "sub", she thought it was an ad for a substitute teacher. Needing a job, she decided to answer the ad, and boy, is she surprised. Blake was curious about Alyson's application. She seemed unbelievably naive to him. It was refreshing, so he replied to her request. They begin an email correspondence. It didn't take long for him to realize she had no idea about his lifestyle; she definitely was not for him. But he found her intriguing and could not resist wanting to be her teacher and show her the wonders of D/s. It would definitely be the challenge he was looking for. He could have his fun and then move on like always. Right?

This is my first read from this author. I really enjoyed it. I am definitely a lover of the erotic BDSM genre and Kim Black did a great job with this short read. The story grabs your attention and holds it from the beginning. The BDSM scenes were well thought out and had me glued to the page. It is the first in a series and is very well written; I could not put it down. There is a cliffhanger, so be aware if that's not your thing, this book isn't for you. If you enjoy a sexy Dom and a less than experienced but likable female character, I definitely recommend this book. I look forward to reading the next installments.
