Play Me Wild (Play Me #1) by Tracy Wolff

Play Me #1: Play Me WildPlay Me #1: Play Me Wild by Tracy Wolff

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This first installment of serial Play Me is set in the fast paced town of Las Vegas. Aria Winston is hiding from her past that includes a family and ex-fiance that want to control her. In an effort to escape the violence that her life has become she sets out to make her own way working as a cocktail waitress at a five-star Vegas casino. Putting up with high rollers who can’t keep their hands to themselves is part of the job description and Aria knows how to handle them. Until one night her control is pushed to the limit and she lashes out against a billionaire who won’t take no for an answer. Her actions cause her to nearly lose everything she tried to build over the last fourteen months on her own. Until Sebastian the brutally gorgeous owner's son and successor to the Atlantis Casino empire steps in the rescue her and show her more kindness than any man ever has before. Aria can’t help but want Sebastian but can she be with a man who will take nothing less than her total submission and still hold on to the control that she has worked so hard to get.

This is my first time I have read a Tracy Wolff serial. This first installment worked as an introduction to the main characters and the story line to come. I like how the author switched POVs between the two main characters, that’s always a favorite of mine. I felt like this first book in the series was a little flat in the beginning I couldn’t get myself to care about Aria just yet. But I did want to know more about Sebastian and I enjoyed reading his POV, which is what kept me interested in reading the series further and I have to say I am glad I did. In Play Me Wild, Aria and Sebastian meet for the first time and sparks fly immediately. They both have stories to tell and secrets to hide, both carrying some serious baggage. But there is a pull there that can’t be denied. By the time I finished book one I was itching to get more of Sebastian and immediately started book two.
